Hurt my back last week and it's been slow to recover; but with a weight belt from my box sorting days at a a shipping warehouse I'm finally starting to get things lined back up...and improve posture...and give myself an overly pronounced muffin top and whatever the upside down version of muffin top is wrapping that broad band around my gut.

I have a lot of work to do today, phonecalls and paper work and end of the year personal business…but I’d much rather eat more dollar menu sandwiches than is sensible and be a groaning mess all day.

As the world finds itself opening up more in the late stages of the pandemic, perhaps too early for my liking but I’m doing my best to follow safe practices and get regularly checked for Covid, my primary partner and I are finally opening back up from our functional monogamy.

I’m frankly falling behind, she has a date tonight! First of many offers on the table who managed to clear the bar between numinous factors and circumstances and actually secure and then have a date mind you. I know I know its not a competition. And besides dating is hard, and expensive fiscally & emotionally. I’m a niche within a niche and also in the midst of a massive transitional job search after getting out of a professional situation that had fallen underwater so maybe I should keep holding off? I really don’t know right now.

I have a want to hit a buffet without knowing I have to drive or put significant effort into how I leave the buffet to just glut and wreck myself.

Do I stay in bed, actually try and start my day, or make and demolish a large brunch and go back to bed?

I think the thread posting dates in the events section should be…more prominent. Just for ease of use and organization and not dredging up dead conversations and passed events.
