Chapter 3 - consequences

Laura had given up trying to defend Marie’s choice to leave Ben for her new guy. As sure as she was that the girls’ dislike of Mike mostly came from his massive 450lb body, he also had to admit that the man did lack any measure of manners or charm. He just didn’t seem at all likeable and he wasn’t afraid of confrontation with the girls when he felt they were being in any way inconsiderate towards him, as a guest in their house. If Marie had a mind to care about the other girls, she would have seen that her status was more than just slipping. She was now the butt of the jokes behind her back.

It didn’t help that Marie simply couldn’t keep her hands off Mike. Whenever they were together, her fingers always caressed his enormous body, sliding over her humungous rear and drifting over his large, fat, rolling stomach. Her eyes constantly seemed misted over with lust, and Laura had got used to seeing the hot girl sat on the guy’s lap, making out with him like she was trying to eat his face.

Whenever Marie wasn’t in classes, or working her part-time job, Mike was there, swallowing up every second of her free time. She loved indulging him: buying him gifts and treats. The large man clearly ate like a horse, for Marie was constantly coming home with junk food and cooking for him down in the kitchen. The loud sex continued, alienating some of the more hot-headed girls who couldn’t hold their tongues quite so well. The old Marie would have cared; she would have gone out of her way repair her friendships with the girls. But this new Marie had eyes only for Mike. Nothing and no-one else in the whole world mattered to her other than him.

“I think he’s even fatter than when they got together,” Paula spat bitterly after Mike had waddled out of the kitchen.

“Of course he is!” Demi laughed back. “Marie treats him like her little prince. She’s probably getting off on it; watching him getting fatter and fatter!”

Laura tried not to join in these types of conversations, but she had to admit that her own brain had already come to a similar conclusion, watching the pair of them over the last six months. Marie seemed too infatuated with Mike’s fat body, and too doting towards him; constantly supplying the greedy, fat man with more and more delicious treats. She simply had to be getting something kinky out of it.

“The jokes on her though!” Demi laughed, patting her stomach.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Laura asked, confused by the way Demi and Paula seemed to be sharing some secret joke between themselves.

The pair smirked at each other and laughed again, as if mocking Laura like a kid in the school yard who didn’t yet know the meaning of rude words.

“Surely you’ve noticed?” Paula asked.

Laura shook her head.

“Seriously? You haven’t noticed the little belly Marie is getting?”

“No she’s not!” Laura shot back, determined not to be the butt of whatever joke this was.

“Yeah, she is!” Demi stated with absolute certainty. “You take a look next time you see her. She’s got a little round belly and a big blubbery ass coming. Dating a fat guy is rubbing off on her, big style!”

Laura rarely saw Marie since her class timetable had increased so much, but Paula and Demi were usually the ones skipping classes and hanging around the house most days. So if the beautiful Marie really had put on a few pounds, it wouldn’t have been all that surprising if they were the first ones to notice. The idea still seemed impossible though. Marie was surely one of those girls who would always be pretty and athletic. She remembered seeing Marie’s mom when she was helping her move in here and realising then what amazing genes the young girl really was blessed with. So, the idea of her getting chubby? No, that was just a bit of mean-talk from bitter ex-friends.
