I mean, in general, most feedist models don't stick around long. There's this near constant pressure from the fans to keep gaining and gaining. And you keep trying to make showier and more spectacular content.

Eventually that takes a toll on your body. Either you get sick and stop or you decide what's good for yourself and set boundaries with your audience.

On that note, a lot of sex workers in general don't stay in the business forever. In fact, on average, the few that don't quit within the first 3 months are only around for a few years.

As such, I don't expect much different from feedist models. Even outside of the feedist specific issues, there are other reasons why someone might tap out. I've heard of people finding religion, having kids, wanting to do something else with their lives, etc. etc. Plus, their fans are really mean.

I've seen the comments under a lot of their videos. Their fans think they own these women and their bodies. So when they don't get what they want or the model places clear, firm boundaries, they get nasty. Eventually, they decide enough is enough and bounce.

I've been around the community to be able to have an answer for everyone of the models you're interested in.

Echo- Still making content, she's always been on an "update occasionally" status.
Barbie- Retired many years ago, rumor has it did get WLS= Weight Loss Surgery. A good amount of models do end up getting this so not a surprise.

Valerie- I take it you mean Viva La Valerie? She appeared on the Dr. Phil show and ended up trashing the community around 2014-2016. Shortly after her appearance, and I do mean shortly as in days/weeks she retired. She is no longer making content and is probably 100-200lbs skinnier than when you last saw her.

I should add all models who are retired definitely want their privacy. Valerie is quick to block anyone who finds her on social media and likes any post. Like literally if you like a video she shares of a dog, blocked (Know from experience on X when she was an active Twitter user and part of the community on there).

I only know of one Barbie. Rumor has it that she found religion and left the community. However, I don't have any evidence proving or disproving it.

Okay so here’s my bit:

As far as I know, as much as we enjoy the content of a (professional) adult content creation. It’s also something to keep in mind that they are people too, they also have lives outside of their work to entertain us.

And it’s like how Munchies said, most model’s career don’t last for a long time. I mean it would be quite odd for someone to retire from making adult content at the age of 50 or 60! But hey stranger things have happened.

Not to mention that the supply and demand and be too much for the model themselves. Since Munchies mentioned about how the fans can be really nasty and pushy, this goes with all of the incels out there who think that they have a parasocial relationship with their favourite model.

Of course they’re also some reasons like they became a parent or got a professional job, and don’t want people to find out about it or not make a great example. Especially if they don’t want to bring a lot of trouble within themselves and their own kids. Of course it’s also because of the inevitable health reasons for what they do to themselves as well. I know that they’re are some exceptions but most of them don’t exactly like the idea of cutting their live short for the sake of entertainment.

Oh and sometimes they get to a point of where they had their fun and want to move on with their lives. Whether or not, if they are satisfied with the money they made from making their adult content professionally.

But no matter what the reason is, it’s also an inevitable reminder that nothing lasts forever. So it’s best to make the most out of your favourite model’s content while they’re still around.
