Dani laid nude, flat on her back, catching her breath.

“Look at my little chunker…” she cooed as Josh walked back into the bedroom.

“You like what you see?” Josh playfully smacked his little tummy which sloped gently outward. Dani watched small ripples ride upward. His once taught abs now slept comfortably behind a sprouting layer of fat which collected most prominently around his belly button and on his hips.

“Ugh, I LOVE what I see. Come sit and let me play.”

Josh sat in bed next to Dani. A small roll formed just between his chest and potbelly, which poked outward as he positioned himself upright, leaning back against the headboard.

“Such a cute little pooch you’re getting, baby. How did this happen?” Dani teased as she crawled to snuggle up against him, caressing the bottom of his gut.

“What are you asking me for?” Josh asked, pinching an inch of chub between his fingers, “YOU did this to me…” he teased.

“You bet that chunky little ass, I did” Dani squirmed, fingertips slowly running along the bottom of his potbelly, “and I know you love it just as much as I do, my fat king. Before you know it, I’m gonna have this belly nice and fat, covered with so many deep, red stretch marks. I wanna see this little tummy spill out onto your lap. I wanna have to dig to find this.” her voice deepened, fingers wandering between his legs.

“I love when you talk dirty like that to me, baby. It makes me so hungry. I can’t wait to see how fat you’re going to make me.”

“Hungry...?” she grinned.

Grey skies gently swept droplets of rain to the damp earth below.

Tangled between soft blankets and Josh’s arms, Dani stared out the window through groggy eyes. The tender pitter-patter of the outside world harmonized with Josh’s light snore. Her eyes traced the many tree branches in her yard, just beginning to bud with Spring taking hold. Birds sang as they bounced between trees, dancing with one another as they passed, shaking their feathers out once settled into their perch.

Dani felt Josh begin to wake as he shifted and grunted.

“Morning, baby,” she whispered, “it’s raining, it’s pouring…”

“I don’t snore.” Josh groaned, turning onto his stomach.

Dani giggled.

“I’m going to miss cuddling like this when it’s hot as Hades in a few months.” she continued.

“We love cuddling…” Josh responded sluggishly.

Dani squirmed to release herself from Josh’s arm and the cocoon of blankets. Josh moaned as she straddled his back and began to rub deep, deliberate circles with her thumbs into Josh’s shoulders. She massaged up his neck, and slowly down his upper back. He moaned again as she worked her way down to his lower back, thumbs circling inward towards his spine while her nails dug softly into his burgeoning love handles.

“That feels amazing,” he mustered, half-asleep, half-hypnotized by Dani’s magic hands.

“This morning reminds me of the morning after the first time we hooked up, remember that?” Dani asked.

Josh chuckled. “Oh god, Pete’s backyard rager? The sloppiest day of all time?”

“I demanded to take a shower at your place before we got into bed, I had like grass and mud caked to my feet and ankles. And I saw your bathroom and really considered just going back home.”

Josh laughed louder. “Yeah, that place was disgusting. That’s what you get for living with 3 other dudes in a scummy student house downtown.”

“So gross,” Dani laughed, “but then the next morning, it was drizzling so gently. And you were cuddling me. After a random hookup. It just felt...just really special. Me and all my girlfriends had stories about getting kicked out after hooking up in the middle of the night, or guys who couldn’t wait for us to leave in the morning. And you were just sound asleep, holding me. It was so sweet.”

“Are you sure that was me?” Josh joked, lifting his head to turn back towards Dani.

“Yes!” she slapped the middle of his back. “You big goon.”

“Well,” Josh went on, “I didn’t know the most beautiful girl at the party would turn out to be the biggest sweetheart I’ve ever met.”

“Awww, Joshy. So sweet.” she responded, now rhythmically digging the heels of her hands deep into his back.

After a short pause, Josh spoke up, “so yeah, anyway, how about you get back up to those shoulders, eh toots?”

Dani broke out into laughter and kissed Josh on the neck. “You’re such a freakin’ idiot. But I’m glad you’re my freakin’ idiot.” She hopped off and snuggled up to Josh’s side. “So,” she continued, “are you still on for today?”

“Oh, hell yeah.” Josh replied enthusiastically, turning to Dani propping himself up on his side. “But first, how about some breakfast? I think I’m gonna need as much last-minute help as I can get!” he finished, hand draped over his puffy belly.
